Poem: Field of Flowers by Marcia Carrington

FIELD OF FLOWERS by Marcia Carrington

* * * *

I strolled through a field of flowers,

Utterly luxuriating in the sights,

Where every color of flower imaginable was present,

Reds, greens, yellows, blues and violets were in abundance,

As but a small sample of the sights.

I thought that I was in a dream,

and my eyes were transfixed on these, as if in a trance,

and in turn, this made my heart very, merrily, dance.
